Find Your Vulnerabilities

Penetration testing, (sometimes called pen testing) is a structured test of your IT infrastructure. The goal is to highlight vulnerabilities that exist, learn from them, and implement remediation strategies to address the weaknesses discovered and improve an organization’s defenses against cyber-attacks.

• Define:

  First we’ll define the overall scope of the pen test. This allows us to efficiently select the testing methods based on the goals outlined.

• Infiltrate:

  Using diverse means, the pen testers find back-door vulnerabilities, and exploit them in any possible ways: escalating privileges, stealing data, and if possible, maintaining access, imitating so-called advanced persistent threats, which can keep a system vulnerable for months, and in worst-case scenarios, jeopardize the most sensitive data that an organization has.

• Analyze:

  After the systems are exposed to the worst threats, the learning begins. Security personnel work to configure the IT systems, firewalls, and security architecture. With a successful penetration test, the IT team can patch vulnerabilities to keep your enterprise protected going forward.
